Hello, and welcome!

My name is Anna, and I am an artist based in Clontarf.

Having worked in many different mediums, from cloth, wool and thread, to wood, clay, metal, glass and paint, I have found painting to be one of my favourite forms of expression.

The style I work in is contemporary, incorporating both abstract and figurative subjects. Using oils and acrylics, the themes are influenced by sea, land, wind, light and nature in all its variations.

My intention is to create pieces that reflect the shapes, forms, movement and light of these influences. I use the colour and texture of the paint, through layering, to achieve luminescence and life within each piece.
